If you are too far ahead your time, your invention may be met with confusion and indifference. But if you hit the right thing at the right time – you get traction like a nitro-burning funny car. So what’s the secret? Well, there is the MAYA principle – Most Advanced Yet Acceptable. It’s means to make the most advanced step forward you can while still being familiar enough to gain acceptance. Because innovation needs traction to become relevant, or it gets ignored.
